West Point High School
“Mrs. Barnhill is an outstanding teacher who cares about the individual needs of her students. She is extremely hard working, innovative in the classroom, and works to get students involved in the learning process. She has improved the instruction learning in the area of chemistry and physics at West Point High School 100%. Mrs. Barnhill is a valuable employee who would be hard to replace.
Joe Tuccio
Florence Middle School
“Joe is not your typical "teacher". He thinks and teaches out of the box, and the students love it. He had the highest overall ACT2 test scores last year in our whole school, while being our boy's basketball coach for the past three years, which took much of his time as well. Joe is also a man of highest character. The students know and love him because he is genuine. The students know he cares, because he treats them with respect, honesty and understanding. He is a great role model.
