Teacher of the Year Voting Has Begun

Voting opened last week for our first ABCTE Teacher of the Year award and runs until Thursday, July 29 at 5pm EDT. In early August, the state winners will be announced on our website and then a national winner will be selected. The national winner will be flown to Washington D.C. to receive the award before a representative from the U.S. Department of Education as well as members of ABCTE's Board of Directors and staff.

Keeping Students Engaged as Summer Approaches

Carnival of Education Innovation #001

Welcome to the first edition of the Carnival of Education Innovation.

Before we get started, here’s a quick summary of what a blog carnival is for those who’ve never heard of one before: It’s basically a collection of links to recent blog posts on a particular subject. People can come browse the links as a sort of one-stop-shop for all that’s happening in education innovation that week—a “best of the week” so to speak, taking place each Tuesday.
