Keeping Students Engaged as Summer Approaches
Posted May 19th, 2010 by Mike HoldenWe’ve reached that time of year in most schools when students are watching the calendar counting down the days until summer vacation begins. For teachers, this often means having the additional challenge of keeping students engaged who’d rather be getting an early start on their vacation.

But today I heard an interview of Richard Ognibene who is the teacher of the year for New York. His thoughts are so inspiring and his advice absolutely the best. If we had 3.3 million clones of Richard teaching in our schools, we would have the absolute best educational system in the world.
