ABCTE To Name Teacher of the Year
Principals Nominated ABCTE Teachers, Finalists Named & Public Vote Now Taking Place
Washington, D.C. (July 13, 2010) —
Having now certified close to 2,500 teachers, the American Board for Certification of Teacher Excellence (ABCTE) has announced the non-profit organization will name a Teacher of the Year.
Principals submitted nominations, finalists were named and now voting is being conducted online to determine state winners. A National ABCTE Teacher of the Year will be selected in August and flown to Washington D.C. to receive the award before a representative from the U.S. Department of Education and ABCTE's Board of Directors and staff.
