Over 8,000 Teacher of the Year Votes & Counting!

There have now been over 8,000 votes placed for Teacher of the Year and the voting closes at 5pm EDT tonight.

Next, a national winner will be selected from the state winners and that person will be flown to Washington, D.C. in August to receive their award in a ceremony with a representative from the U.S. Department of Education. Stay tuned to our website in early August for the announcement about the recipient of the National ABCTE Teacher of the Year Award.

Thank you to all the principals who nominated someone for the award, to all of you who have voted and to every ABCTE teacher out there making a difference! We appreciate the support and are excited about the buzz surrounding the inaugural edition of the ABCTE Teacher of the Year Award.
