Cyber Monday Results

As you may know, yesterday was Cyber Monday and we ran a promotion at ABCTE, giving people $150 off our teaching certification program if they enrolled by midnight using the CYBERMONDAY discount code.

This was the second year we’ve run this promotion. In 2008, we came up with the idea very last minute, sending out an email and issuing a quick press release on our website. We saw 14 people take advantage of the 2008 Cyber Monday offer, which gave them $100 off our $850 teaching certification program.

This year, we offered $150 off our program (which now costs $975) and expanded the promotion to run from Black Friday through Cyber Monday. With more time to plan, we gave it a bigger push with a press release, two email blasts and messages on Twitter and Facebook.

We were pleased with the results, as 60 people enrolled in the program through the 2009 Cyber Monday offer: 24 from Friday through Sunday and then 36 on Cyber Monday itself.

Thanks to everyone who took advantage of the offer or who helped spread the word. Look for another big promotion from us in January.
