The ABCTE Standard, ABCTE Plus+, and now ABCTE Premium Programs

The ABCTE Standard program has proven to be a comprehensive and successful program for the majority of our people. In the fall of 2010, we made the effort to reach out to our alumni to ask what more we could have done for them. The result was a series of materials for both the PTK and specific subjects.

We did not just include the materials and raise the price, as not everyone needs the additional tools. As a result we have the ABCTE Standard Program offered at $1,995 ($1,595 for History), the ABCTE Plus+ Program offered for $2,300 ($1,900 for History) and the ABCTE Premium Program offered for $2,500.

In the near future we will be rolling out other workbooks and quizbanks for subject areas that a few people have requested. Rather than raise the cost for everyone, especially those who do not need the extra materials, we will continue to make these separate offerings a la carte.

ABCTE Premium Programs

In March of 2011 we introduced the ABCTE Premium which provides a convenient way to purchase everything in one bundle. The Premium Program combines the full Standard program, the optional PTK tools and the NEW Subject tools for English Language Arts (ELA), Mathematics, and Special Education.

ABCTE Plus+ Programs

ABCTE Plus+ includes Professional Teaching Knowledge tools such as the PTK Standards Workbook to help organize your study (normally $50) PTK Quizbank 1 - focusing on topics often missed ($135), and PTK Quizbank 2- focusing on the remaining topics. These three items are also offered separately as a bundle to people who enrolled in the ABCTE Standard Program and wish to add it later at $310.

ABCTE Standard Programs

Please note, the installment plan is available for the ABCTE Standard, ABCTE Plus+ and ABCTE Premium, but you must submit the installment plan form.

Financial Aid is available to candidates eligible for federal reduced lunch. Financial aid is only available for the ABCTE Standard and ABCTE Plus+ programs.
